With 2019 being our family’s first full year here in Northern Michigan, I wanted to do something to help us remember to slow down and enjoy the newness each month has to offer us. I started creating these monthly bucket lists (you can find February’s here) and we’ve enjoyed them so much that I’ve decided to share them with you.
Last month, we made Valentine’s for out of state relatives, caught snowflakes on our tongues, and watched the Grammys. I document as many of the fun tasks as I can and share them on my Instagram feed using the hashtag #HMSBucketList.
For March, we have a new list of bucket list items to enjoy including seed start a garden (I’m most excited about this one!), bake a pie on Pi Day (March 14th for you non-nerds), and read a book in a sunny window. Click here for the full size printable version.
These monthly bucket lists are easy to shrink down to insert into a planner or print off at full size for the fridge. I get weird satisfaction from checking items off, but I love how these lists have helped our family to slow down and enjoy the small things.
