AD: Perfectly Grilled Cornish Hen

One of our family’s favorite meals is a roasted chicken in the slow cooker or oven, but recently I’ve learned that you can grill these little cornish hens from Tyson. Since we love our chicken around these parts, I couldn’t wait to try grilling a few Tyson® Cornish Hens for my brood.
I love cooking with Tyson Cornish Hens because they’re all natural with no artificial ingredients or preservatives and no added hormones or steroids. Plus, for my family two or three cornish hens are the perfect amount to feed everyone a decent portion. They’re also a great year-round meal since they can be baked, slow cooked, or even grilled!
Top them with some Kikkoman® Soy Sauce and let the hens marinate for one to two hours.
Next, I spatchcock the birds, which is just a fancy sounding term for cutting them down the middle on either side of the spine. You can also do this before marinating, but since I marinated only with soy sauce, I didn’t mind doing it after.
Next, you’ll place them right on the grill.
Grill them on both sides for about 10-15 minutes each.
Once your Tyson Cornish Hens are finished cooking, remove them from the grill and onto a platter to rest for 10 to 15 minutes before carving into it. This will help your chicken to become incredibly juicy and melt in your mouth tender and leave you with a perfectly grilled cornish hen. You fancy, huh?
