I know what you’re thinking. SNICKERS®salad? I’ll pass! But hear me out on this because you’re going to love it, I promise. The perfect treat for football season, this salad is combines granny apples, SNICKERS® bars, & more to create a salad dreams are made of. Serve it in mason jars with spoons so that you can fully enjoy the game while you indulge in your serving of decadent chocolatey goodness. #Chocolate4TheWin
Load up on the ingredients you’ll need for this recipe at your local Sam’s Club along with your football essentials like bowls, chips, dips, & more! You can find everything you need & then some. Just ask my wallet!
1 1/2 cups milk
1 package (3.4 ounces) butterscotch pudding mix
1 carton of frozen whipped topping
5 SNICKERS® candy bars (chopped into bite sized pieces)
4 large granny smith apples (chopped into bite sized pieces)
In a large bowl, whisk your pudding mix together with the milk for roughly two or so minutes. Set aside & let it stand for another two minutes or until it’s soft set. Next, fold in the whipped topping carefully, you don’t want to over do it. Finally add in your SNICKERS® pieces & apples. Cover with plastic wrap & refrigerate for at least one hour before serving.
Once the salad is nice & set, spoon it into mason jars or cups for individual servings. Add a spoon & set out to allow your friends & family (& SNICKERS® loving husband!) to come & grab their serving quickly between quarters of the big game. The hardest part about this recipe is not eating the SNICKERS® candy bars all for yourself! There is something about this salad that just feels like fall & football to me. Maybe it’s the apples or maybe it’s the SNICKERS®, either way it’s just the perfect game day treat that everyone enjoys.
