This spaghetti casserole becomes an easy weeknight meal when you use Classico Family Favorites sauce that’s already packed with traditional flavor & real meat ingredients for a perfect Italian family favorite. #FamilyFavorites
We have the sweetest neighbors ever who are always giving treats to our kids & even the dog! They always show up to birthday parties & family events we hold here. And they always help keep an eye on our house. It’s such a privilege to have a good relationship with the people you live close to & the peace of mind it brings is wonderful. As a thank you, we made this casserole & took it over to them for being the nicest neighbors ever!
Walmart carried the ingredients for everything I needed to make this casserole up in a jiffy. Isn’t it the greatest when you can get everything done in one store?
2 (24 oz) Classico Family Favorites
1 box (16 oz) bow tie pasta
1 container (16 oz) sour cream
2 pounds ground beef
1 medium onion (diced)
2 cups mozzarella cheese (shredded)
DIRECTIONS Preheat the oven for 350 degrees. In a large pot, boil the pasta. While the pasta is cooking, go ahead & cook your onion & ground beef together in a large skillet or pot until completely cooked through. In the same pot as the beef, you will add in your sour cream, your Classico sauce, one cup of the mozzarella, & finally your noodles (once they’ve been cooked & strained, of course). Give it all a good stir to ensure everything is mixed together nicely. Next, spread the pasta mixture straight into a casserole dish & add your last cup of cheese right on top. Cover it with tinfoil & bake for 30 minutes. Once your 30 minutes is up, remove the tinfoil & bake for an additional 5-10 minutes to get a golden crust on the cheese.
When you pull this cheesy, tomato-y dish from your oven, the aroma is absolutely mouth watering! It also serves a ton of people, but if you’re in a smaller family, this is a perfect dish to share with the neighbors! Since we have kids with their other parents at any given time, I’m never really sure when I’ll be feeding seven mouths, four mouths, or just three.
Our friendly neighbors were thrilled with their surprise delivery & it was a great way to show the boys how we care for one another in our neighborhood & just in general.
