In a large sauce pan, combine butter, sugar, milk, and cocoa powder and melt together over medium heat, whisking occasionally.
Once mixture reaches a boil, stop whisking and allow to boil for a complete minute.
Remove from heat and immediately stir in peanut butter and vanilla. Once peanut butter is fully incorporated, stir in oats and salt.
Allow mixture to sit for a moment while you line your counter or baking sheets with parchment paper.
Use a spoon or cookie scoop to scoop dough onto baking sheets.
Allow to set for an hour. They will harden to a fudge-like consistency.
Enjoy at room temperature or in the fridge for a slightly harder bite.
